Meet The Buyer Event– Sandway Homes & Barnfield Construction, Thursday 20th October

InvestSefton would like to give Sefton based businesses, suppliers, smaller contractors, and sole traders the chance to learn about forthcoming contract opportunities arising from the Sandway Homes and Barnfield Construction Phase 1 build programme. 

Sandway Homes have commissioned Barnfield Construction to work across three sites, comprising of 141 homes.  The first two sites in Ainsdale and Crossens are nearing completion, and the third site (63 units) is in Netherton and is due to start in 2023.

Barnfield are actively looking to expand their supply chain and work more closely with Sefton businesses.  Sub-contractors must be able to demonstrate a proven history of quality workmanship and have the necessary capabilities and H&S accreditations (where relevant).

The following work is to be procured:

Groundworks, bricklayers (labour only), uPVC windows & external doors, roofing, and rainwater goods. Joinery (labour only doors, frames, skirtings, stairs, and balustrades). plastering. painting. kitchens, tiling (labour only), plumbing/mechanical, electrical, fencing/gates and tarmacking.

Suppliers – Building materials, Stone/aggregate, In situ concrete.

The event will be held at Southport and Birkdale Sports Club, Trafalgar Road, Birkdale, PR8 2HF, on Thursday 20th October from 10am-12pm.
