20/10/2020- Job Support Scheme Extended

The Chancellor has confirmed that the Job Support Scheme will be expanded to protect jobs and support businesses that are required to close due to coronavirus restrictions. Eligible businesses will receive grants to help pay the wages of staff who are unable to work, covering two thirds of each employee’s salary, up to a maximum of £2,100 a month. The cash grants available to businesses that are forced to close due to local lockdowns will also increase to £3,000 per month.
