20/07/2021- Report exploring how business schools engage with SMEs

The Small Business Charter has published a report exploring how business schools can increase engagement with small and medium-sized businesses. The report reveals that while small and medium-sized businesses made up 98% of the UK business population, the take-up of business school programmes by smaller firms was historically low and leadership skills gaps persist. Recommendations in the report include adding small business engagement into the curriculum, bringing smaller businesses into the teaching environment and ensuring they understand the value and impact of business school accreditations.
