07/09/2020- Funding to help employers take on apprentices
Employers can now apply for cash incentives to help them take on new apprentices as part of the Government’s Plan for Jobs. Under the plan, employers will receive £2,000 for each new apprentice they hire under the age of 25, as well as £1,500 for each new apprentice aged 25 and older. The grants will support employers to cover recruitment and wage costs, and to provide facilities and uniforms. Employers can apply for funding through the digital apprenticeship service.
