Tributes being paid to InvestSefton’s Julie Swarbrick

It is with sadness, that we announce the passing of Julie Swarbrick, Business Growth Adviser with the Council’s business support and advice service, InvestSefton.

Julie, who had been with the Council and InvestSefton for over 20 years, passed away at the weekend after a short illness.

Councillor Marion Atkinson, Sefton Council Leader said: “Julie’s InvestSefton colleagues and many others across the Council are devastated at this unexpected news. We have received tributes from many Sefton businesses, colleagues and partners, who Julie has worked with for many years.

“Julie was a real powerhouse with an infectious personality whether she was speaking at Sefton business events or providing advice and guidance to many businesses over the years, helping them to grow, diversify  and create job opportunities. I am sure the many companies that she has supported and advised will be just as shocked and saddened.

“Our thoughts go out to Julie’s husband Rob, her father Bill, sister Jane  and all the family.”
