Sefton Council Toy Appeal 2022
A message from Cllr Clare Louise Carragher, May of Sefton
Dear Sefton Businesses
I am launching the Mayor’s Christmas Toy Appeal where very soon I will be urging anyone who can to donate a small something to those families who may be struggling this Christmas.
Christmas is a special time of year for many of us. However, for some children, for many reasons and through no fault of their own, this is not the case. We want every child to be able to enjoy this joyful and magical time of year without families worrying about the considerable financial pressures this could entail, on top of the growing cost of living crisis.
I will ask that the people, businesses and community of Sefton, once again, show their exceptional generosity and donate to this year’s Mayor’s Christmas Toy Appeal.
We are asking businesses if they would be happy to host a drop off point on their premises or commit to being a drop off point for their own staff.
If you are interested in either having a drop off point at your business, wish to make a donation or get involved in the appeal, please don’t hesitate to get in touch my office for further information.
I know that the Sefton community will come together this Christmas as it has done every year.
Thank you and I appreciate your support.
Cllr Clare Louse Carragher
