This session will give the audience an open and honest assessment of what the technology is, how it works and how our advances can both benefit any organization and drive UK export.
RPA uses software to create an agile virtual workforce which mimics human interaction to complete repetitive back office tasks. It follows rule-based business processes and interacts with systems in the same way that human users do.
The proven benefits of RPA include cost savings, higher quality service delivery through increased speed and accuracy, being 100% auditable ensuring compliance and increased employee satisfaction. For example in arvato’s partnership with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council robotics has reduced the number of days for direct debit processing from approximately fourteen days to one day.
People attending the session will receive expert advice from arvato, Blue Prism and Alsbridge, who are leading RPA experts and implementers. After a more generic introduction about robotics, there will be a deeper dive into the topic, presenting a case study about its implementation and benefits for one of arvato’s local authority partnerships. This will then be followed by a by a Q&A panel discussion.
